When I told you I was stepping down from Democratic leadership and asked for your help to usher in a new generation, I knew that I could count on you — our VIPs, our Volunteers in Politics — to support me and House Democrats.
I am so impressed by the huge outpouring of support that came flooding in for Leader Jeffries, Whip Clark, and Chairman Aguilar as they took on the awesome responsibility of leading our House Democrats forward at a time of unprecedented extremism and chaos from House Republicans.
But Democrats still have plenty of work left to do, John.
As of 9:30am, I'm calling for 5,696 more Democrats from Pennsylvania to pitch in to the DCCC and help reach our End-of-Year fundraising goal. We made historic climate investments that will create millions of good-paying, green jobs as we save our planet and prioritize the needs and wellbeing of future generations.
We took on a deadly, once-in-a-generation pandemic and made sure our neighbors had the tools they need to guard their health. Together, we saved lives and livelihoods. Our Democratic policies created 14 million jobs — cutting the unemployment rate in half!
A Democratic House is essential to creating more jobs and saving our health care — including expanding access to care, protecting a woman’s right to choose, protecting our families with gun safety protections and stopping dark money aimed at sabotaging the Affordable Care Act and the Inflation Reduction Act.
Once you help us win in 2024, our restored Democratic Trifecta — House, Senate and White House — will act to invest in the Care Economy, to make the Biden Child Tax Credit permanent, to codify Roe v. Wade and LGBTQ+ Equality and to ban assault weapons.
