December 29, 2023 Dear John, In the waning hours of 2023, I am writing to share my gratitude on behalf of all of us at MPI for your engagement with our work this year. And to express our enduring commitment to being a resolutely independent, nonpartisan voice that generates well-designed immigration and integration policies that work in the interest of all sectors of society. We have had significant impact in the policy debate this year, serving as a rare voice of pragmatism and reason as the United States, other countries in the Western Hemisphere, Europe, and beyond grapple with rising migration and displacement. We do so by developing and sharing the essential data, evidence-informed analysis, and thoughtful policy ideas that can help make migration management and protection systems meet ever-evolving challenges. Informing policy and public debates in smart, effective, and timely fashion requires significant investments in research and analytic capacity, dissemination, and engagement with key actors in government, civil society, and beyond. As you make your final year-end giving decisions today, would you consider investing in smart solutions at a time when constructive voices are more essential than ever? |

Thank you again for your interest in our work and we look forward to keeping you informed in the year ahead. Wishing you a wonderful start to 2024, Andrew Selee, PhD President Migration Policy Institute |
