This has been a year like no other.
We’re witnessing era-defining conflicts like the Israel-Hamas war and Ukraine’s battle against Russian occupation. Beyond the fighting in those troubled lands, we’re seeing the rapid growth of technologies like artificial intelligence that are disrupting and transforming a wide range of industries and sectors. This is pushing East and West to compete to build and secure resilient supply chains in critical sectors, all while ensuring our key partners can pursue new opportunities to meet their own economic aspirations.
In short, the pages of human history seem to be turning faster than perhaps any point in our lifetime.
When Congress first chartered the Wilson Center, they understood there would be times like these, that we would be needed to help decision-makers steer US foreign policy amidst unprecedented global developments. The Wilson Center is:

- Respected for our unique role in helping to inform sound US foreign policy.
- Lauded for our network of experts—from our program teams to 4,500+ fellows, scholars, and alumni—that is unmatched, and whom we have put to work on today’s biggest challenges.
- Turned to every day through our blogs, podcasts, high-level events, numerous Hill briefings, and scholarly publications that deliver trusted, actionable analysis.
- Determined to deliver the insights and analysis that can inform decision-making and help to forge a stronger America and more secure world.
All of this is only possible because of your generosity and support. It is our mission to help policymakers and our stakeholders—friends and supporters like you—make sense of these turbulent times.
