The addiction crisis can feel overwhelming, but we know it can be solved if we work together. Most people don’t know that addiction is a disease that can be prevented and treated. Often, families are unsure where to start when faced with substance use. Here is how we work to change this:
- Increase awareness and education about substance use prevention and treatment through our comprehensive expert-driven guides and articles
- Prepare parents with techniques for how to engage with their children of any age or stage of substance use with our parenting courses, including our new course on harm reduction
- Advise families through our free, one-on-one direct services to address their personal situations
- Advocate and inform policymakers on substance use and mental health treatment and prevention legislation
- Work with partners like you saw in our video series, Carleah Summers, Staci James, and Stephanie Marquesano, providing tools to their organizations to support their impact
