Friend,

Did you catch the email from Mark Ruffalo earlier today (below)? Mark challenged 250 donors to give to EWG before midnight.

I want to tell Mark that we hit our goal, but we are 100 donors short. Do you have a quick minute to help?

Can I count on you to make a tax-deductible donation now? Your support will directly power the work we can accomplish in 2024 – and even just $15 will go a long way.

I am incredibly grateful to Mark for helping us out during EWG’s year-end campaign. He has already done so much to help raise awareness of the PFAS contamination crisis.

We are running out of time to hit our goal, and your donation is essential to stay on track.

Reminder: All gifts are MATCHED.

Thanks so much for your support, friend.

Friend,

Here’s the shocking truth:

PFAS chemicals are dangerous. They’re everywhere. And they’re forever.

And right now, companies that made a fortune poisoning our environment with them are trying to shirk their responsibility. For DECADES they knew PFAS are toxic – they’re harmful to immune and reproductive systems and raise the risk of cancer. And companies still used them. Now they want to avoid paying for the cleanup.

There’s one organization leading the fight to hold them accountable: EWG.

For 30 years, EWG has been at the forefront, tirelessly working to expose PFAS contamination in our environment, and they’ve gotten results. Thanks to EWG’s relentless efforts, the EPA has finally proposed maximum contaminant levels for six of the most dangerous PFAS in tap water. But polluters are still dumping more PFAS chemicals into our environment, and we must hold them accountable.

My message to polluters is simple: After poisoning your workers and neighbors for decades, it is time to make our public health, not your profits, our top priority.

EWG is always in our corner, and now I ask that you be in their corner.

EWG is just days away from a critical fundraising deadline, on December 31. Falling short puts all of their work, including on PFAS chemicals, at risk.

I am asking for 250 individuals to donate today to EWG. Can EWG count on you to be one of them?

Just click here to make a tax-deductible donation of $15 or more to fund EWG’s work on PFAS and other toxic chemicals.

In the decades since the dangers of PFAS first came to light, little progress has been made in cleaning up the contamination. By supporting EWG, you join the fight to protect thousands of communities whose air and water have been exposed to these “forever chemicals”.

I’ve personally joined EWG in speaking to Congress about the urgent need for protection from PFAS. Their work is having a real impact, and your support today allows them to continue. Let’s stand together against PFAS contamination.

Thanks for standing with us, friend.
