Dear Friend,

With a New Year to welcome in, I wanted to thank you for your support this
year. We have accomplished so much, and none of it would have been possible
without you!

Greens threw their support behind a provincial by-election in Kitchener
Centre. Less than a month ago, on November 30, residents of Kitchener
Centre elected a second Green MPP to Queens Park! As I watched that win, a
wave of small memories and key moments that highlight how different we are
as a party came to my mind. GREENS DON’T JUST CAMPAIGN, WE BUILD
COMMUNITY.

Volunteering with Aislinn's campaign reminded me of Green campaign offices
over the years. In the London North Centre by-election in 2006 we had
wonderful homemade soups and a space for children to read books and draw
rainbows for our walls. This year, Aislinn's husband Ryan made fabulous
pizzas, with gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese. Aislinn joked people came
for the food and stayed for the politics.

By the time I was canvassing on my last trip to Kitchener Centre, I knew we
had it and in my head, quietly, the word was "landslide!" Aislinn received
more votes than the Liberal, Conservative and NDP candidates combined.

This win was a key part of building for the next federal election, whenever
it is called. Now, we must ready ourselves for federal byelections in
Durham and Toronto-St. Paul's.

I do want to share some exciting news. Early in the New Year, JP and I will
be hitting the road to meet with as many communities and as many Green
Party members and supporters as possible across Canada. Your donation now
will help us organize the tour, add additional locations and get the tour
launched. I am so excited to get out and see all of you again!

from coast, to coast, to coast.
