John -
In times like these, I know that it's easy to feel like there is so much out of our control.
But, I assure you, we all have a role to play!
We can all spread facts, not fear.
We can all share joy, not germs.
And we can all help to lift up those in our communities who are on the front lines helping to combat this virus.
In Delaware and across the country, there are countless doctors, nurses, health care workers, first responders, public safety officers, caregivers and service workers who are putting the needs of others before their own. Together, let's show them how thankful we are for the work they are doing.
Can you take a minute and leave a message of support for those who are helping to keep our communities safe? Click here to leave a note.
I promise, it doesn't have to be long. I know a few words of encouragement and gratitude would go a long way.
If you're at home and maybe feeling like you just don't know what you can do to help, leave a message for the moms, dads, sisters, brothers, husbands and wives who are getting up every day and choosing to help us. Then, I'll share the messages on my Twitter so that we can spread our thanks far and wide.
Remember, we're all in this together, and we can all be there to help each other - even from a distance.
Take care,
Tom
