Friend – I’m about to ask you to contribute $5 to keep Delaware and the Senate blue – but first, there are a few things you should know:

• Democrats are defending a 51-49 Senate majority. Republicans are all but guaranteed to flip West Virginia red, which leaves ONE SEAT remaining to win the majority – making Delaware a critical target on their list.
   
• My second GOP opponent just jumped into this race. We need to be ready and able to respond to anything, whether that’s shady outside groups funding our opponent, attacks from the establishment, or even more opponents entering the race.
   
• I’m falling $18,829 short of our end-of-year fundraising goal. What we raise will set the tone for 2024. If we don’t close the gap, it could lead to us posting a weak fundraising report at the end of the year; a slew of outside spending; Delaware’s Senate seat getting flipped. You get the idea.
