Right now, we have a real chance of sending progressive champion Rep. Barbara Lee to the Senate. But with experts saying this will likely be the most expensive Senate primary in history, we can only pull this off if we all work together.

That's why this month I'm pitching in and helping my colleague and friend Barbara hit her ambitious end-of-year fundraising goal. So please: Will you donate $5 or more now to help Barbara Lee build a progressive future for all?

Here's why Barbara Lee has my support: For over 20 years, she has fought for progress, inch by inch. And believe me, the path to progress has been anything but simple.

Over the course of our time in Congress, I have watched Barbara fight fearlessly for the things she knew were right – even if it meant standing alone in a crowded room. I've always been impressed by her strength, resolve and boldness – and I know that she'll bring all of that and then some to the Senate.

John, this race will be tight, but it isn't impossible. According to the recent polls, nearly 4 out of 10 California voters are still undecided about who they'll vote for in the primary. And, if we can help Barbara Lee get the resources she needs to reach more voters, victory is in reach.
