He was honored in 2023 with the Chester L. Krause Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor bestowed by the American Numismatic Association. He was also honored with the ANA Philanthropy Award. This follows Fuljenz being recognized as the 2021 Dealer of the Year by the American Numismatic Association (ANA).

His books, media appearances and newsletters about gold and rare coins have won Best of the Year awards from the Numismatic Literary Guild and the Press Club of Southeast Texas, and he received the NLG's coveted top honor in 2013, "The Clemy Award."
