These next few days are going to be some of the most important days of the campaign so far. If you have a moment, we’d like to tell you why this time is important – even though we are still over ten months away from the election.
After the FEC deadline on December 31st, we are legally required to publicly report how much money we've raised as well as how many contributions our campaign has received.
A lot of people are going to be watching to see what numbers we report. So that's why we've set some very ambitious goals to meet before the deadline to ensure our campaign has the resources to defend Michigan's Senate seat for Democrats.
In a state as competitive as Michigan, there is zero margin for error because we are notoriously a swing state. Trump won Michigan in 2016 by a razor-thin margin, and then Biden won our state in 2020. With public polling showing both the presidential and the Senate races in a dead-heat, we will be fighting to earn every vote in 2024.
