Hi John, it’s Raquel.
Fundraising for a grassroots campaign like ours is tough, especially this time of year.
Sometimes, I joke with the team that after being on the phone nonstop for hours and spending the weekends approving our emails and texts, I would rather get a root canal than ask for another donation.
But here’s why I do it: I realize I’m not asking this for myself, but so we can all go to Congress together. We deserve so much better. Working Arizonans deserve better pay; women deserve to have control over their own bodies; and immigrants, just like the rest of us, deserve a shot at a better life.
That’s why I’m running for Congress , so we can continue to do what we’ve done in coalition for nearly two decades: fight for the folks and communities who deserve to have a fighter on their side.
So, yes, campaigning is tough, but when we win this thing, every single phone call, text, email, and donation is part of our grassroots foundation and strength. This work will all be so worth it.
Our end-of-year deadline is coming up on Sunday at midnight – we only have a few days left to hit our 2023 goal so that we can start 2024 on track to win.
John, are you with me? If you are, can I count on you to chip in as much as you can before our end-of-year fundraising deadline on Sunday at midnight? You can also forward this email to friends and family to spread the word! [[link removed]]
