O ([link removed]) ur Convention is Now Virtual! ([link removed])
Join us online April 3rd- April 5th for our virtual Young Democrats of Georgia Convention. Our convention has been moved from March 20-22 at the University of Georgia to an entirely online event April 3rd-5th. We will still have educational breakout sessions, caucus and committee meetings, candidate debates, and of course, elections for our Board of Directors!

Because of the decreased overhead of an entirely virtual convention, the executive committee has unanimously decided to permanently decrease ticket prices to just $20 to give as many people access to this opportunity as possible. Make sure to purchase your ticket ASAP to be included in all the exclusive 2020 YDG Virtual Convention excitement.

**Already purchased your ticket to convention? Look for another email following this one later this afternoon for details.

Coronavirus aka COVID-19 Update ([link removed])
Much of our work requires us to be in the community and exposed to the public. There is no need to panic. We are monitoring this situation closely and will be moving our conference to an entirely digital format.
* If you are feeling unwell, have a compromised immune system, or spend time with people who feel sick or have compromised immune systems, please stay home and avoid public events and spaces.
* Please wash your hands with soap and warm water often, cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, ideally with a tissue you then throw in the trash.
* Maintain a minimum of 6 feet between you and other people whenever possible
* Disinfect surfaces with EPA-registered household disinfectants.

Symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Symptoms generally occur 2-14 days after exposure and are typically more severe and complicated in people with compromised immune systems and those over 50 years old.
