Recently, Abigail and I sat down to discuss our budget and fundraising plan for her campaign to serve as Governor of Virginia. As you probably know, grassroots contributions have always been the backbone of our campaigns, and this race is going to be no different.

However, the cost will be different. Running a statewide race in Virginia is going to be incredibly expensive, and we know that national Republican groups are going to spend unbelievable sums to keep the Governor’s seat in the hands of Republicans.
