Coming from humble beginnings, I worked hard in college to succeed academically and be able to support myself and my family.

It was difficult, especially as a woman pursuing a career in a STEM field, but I learned the power of tenacity and willpower and I used it to succeed in college. As a Congresswoman, I’m going to use the same tenacity to fight for my constituents and to help our country back on track.
