I’m a labor leader through and through. In my decades of service and advocacy with labor unions, I’ve helped pass over 200 bills and initiatives into law that address public safety, climate change, education and helping working people.
Labor unions have always been at the forefront of our fight for fair wages, safe workplaces, and quality benefits; they've been my allies in the past, and they'll be my allies in Congress.
And did you know, if elected, I would only be the sixth union rep elected out of the current 435 members of Congress? I would also be the third firefighter elected and the very first Democratic firefighter elected.
