Gun violence devastates. First and foremost it devastates those who are directly affected. Over time, however, it affects us all. It deteriorates our sense of community and of safety, ultimately preventing people from reaching their full compassionate potentials. 

And that's exactly why we recognize the importance and urgency in preventing gun violence in Wisconsin.

• Advocate for Lifesaving Policies: Champion evidence-based, commonsense gun violence prevention, including measures like extreme risk protection orders, background checks, and preventing gun access for domestic abusers and violent misdemeanants.
• Empower Future Leaders: Equip and uplift young champions in the gun violence prevention movement.
• Strengthen Statewide Partnerships: Continue building and collaborating with a powerful group of organizations working to create a safer Wisconsin.
• Amplify Constituent Voices: Ensure every elected official in Wisconsin and Washington, D.C., hears the calls for change from their constituents.
• Address Systemic Racism: Advance equity and justice to address one of the root causes of gun violence.
• Foster Civic Engagement: Support voter education and encourage civic participation.
