John,

As the year draws to a close, we reflect on our progress and the experiences at the Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP), as well as the dedicated individuals who bring our mission to life. We are excited to present the final two installments of our December video series today, showcasing more of the personal narratives of our staff. Their stories are more than just accounts of personal growth; they mirror the impact and significance of our collective efforts in fostering positive changes in drug policy, police-community relations and the criminal justice system.

Monica Westfall

Development and Communications Manager

We invite you to view Monica's video as she reflects on a personal conversation highlighting the need for change in how law enforcement interacts with communities of color.

Eric Lane

Director of Development and Communications

Watch Eric's video as he shares how joining LEAP transformed his perspective, and enables him to effectively advocate for change and engage in meaningful discussions about law enforcement, especially within the community of South Central Los Angeles where he grew up.

Introducing Our New Team Members: We are also thrilled to introduce two new staff members who have recently joined our team, bringing fresh perspectives and renewed energy to our mission.

Noah Walker

Director of Media

Noah joins us with a rich background in strategic messaging, specializing in government and policy. With a deep commitment to harm reduction and drug policy reform, he brings expertise in running integrated media relations campaigns to the team, poised to make significant contributions to our ongoing projects and initiatives.

Mikayla Brucoli

Program Assistant

Joining us from her role as a substitute teacher in schools across Philadelphia and New London, Connecticut, Mikayla Brucoli is passionate about combating the school-to-prison pipeline and advocating for other areas of social reform. Her experience in sociology, backed by a Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University, will be invaluable as we continue to strive for impactful educational and social reforms at LEAP.

Your Support Makes Our Work Possible. As we share these stories and welcome new members to our team, we're reminded of the importance of your support. Your contributions empower us to continue our work, expand our reach, and positively impact communities and law enforcement practices nationwide.

Consider a Year-End Contribution. As we wrap up our campaign, we invite you to make a year-end contribution to LEAP. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us sustain and grow our efforts in the coming year. It's your support that turns our vision into action and our goals into achievements.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your belief in our mission and your generous support are what drive us forward.

In solidarity,

Lt. Diane Goldstein (Ret.)
Executive Director

P.S. Please take a moment to watch the final videos of our campaign and get to know our newest team members. Your involvement and contributions are key to our shared success.
