Last night, Lauren Boebert announced that she is abandoning the people that she currently "represents" in Congress and will instead run in an entirely different district in Colorado—my district, Colorado's 4th.
To Boebert, I say — Bring It On.
I am the Democrat who has been running to flip Colorado’s 4th Congressional district blue since 2020. And as a retired Marine Corps Officer and Purple Heart recipient, I can say without hesitation: I am ready for a fight.
Lauren Boebert is weak and unpopular, and has no ties to this district. I have been working for years to build the coalition that can win here, gathering a record 22,000+ grassroots donations, and thousands of volunteers and supporters from across the district and state. Beating Boebert on our home turf is how we finally get her out of Congress.
We are now taking on one of the most toxic MAGA loyalists and one of the GOP's biggest fundraisers, so we need to supercharge our fundraising immediately.
