Lauren Boebert announced last night that she will not run for reelection in her current congressional district...and instead will run in an open seat contest in a more conservative and Republican-leaning district hundreds of miles from where she lives.

This shameless carpetbagging is driven solely by political opportunity.

Boebert was failing to persuade her constituents that she was up to the job of representing them, and she saw a chance to run in an open seat contest in the only other district that is more Republican-leaning than hers.

Now we need to step up our fundraising to stop Boebert from pulling off this bait and switch. Every single voter in the 4th district needs to know that Boebert abandoned her constituents when the going got tough.
