John,

When I founded Caring Across Generations with Sarita Gupta 12 years ago, I had big dreams for our potential and the change we could drive for family caregivers.

I’ve watched this organization grow from a small-but-mighty team to a powerful force for change. We’re building incredible momentum for the care movement across the country – but we still need your help to take it even farther and make 2024 the year of care, John.

By making a $25.00 donation before December 31st, you can help fuel the care movement for the next year and beyond. [[link removed]]

I’m so proud of how our care movement – and our impact – grew this year. Here’s some of what we were able to accomplish:

* We saved Medicaid from $100 billion in cuts during Congressional budget talks, protecting access to health care and aging and disability services for millions.
* We delivered nearly 100,000 signatures to Congress to call for better care policies with a colorful press conference at the steps of the Capitol.
* We joined President Biden for a historic executive order on care in April – a recognition of the growing power of the caregiving movement.  This was the first time in history that the White House has taken executive action to support family caregivers, veterans, and care workers.
* We hosted the first-ever Carefest to convene 500+ advocates for care and thought leaders across philanthropy, entertainment, business, and policy to build our power together.

In 2024, we’ll continue the fight – to build momentum for larger investments in care, highlight the costs to families due to inaction of our elected leaders, and ensure caregivers and care recipients are ready to advocate for a more caring future. Let’s build off our momentum from 2023 to make 2024 an even more amazing year.

We need to raise $5,000 by December 31 to maximize our impact in 2024 and to make sure care emerges as a priority issue in the election. These funds can help us reach as many people as possible and bring them into the care movement – and help pass important paid leave, child care, and aging and disability care policies.

There’s no gift too small – anything you can give brings us closer to our goal and fuels the care movement for the next year. Please, don’t hesitate and make your tax-deductible gift right away. [[link removed]]

Thank you for powering our work for the past decade,
