Hey team, it's Makenzie again. Ilhan's finance director.

I'm reaching out because late last week, I made a very difficult decision during our campaign budget meeting, and as a supporter of this campaign, I thought you deserved to know about it.

It's become clear that in order to continue growing our progressive coalition all across the country and have the resources required to take on the right wing's super PACs, we're going to need to scale up our investments in digital organizing and advertising.

The money wasn't in our December budget. But I gave the green light anyway.

It was a risk, for sure. But right now, as we face our final FEC deadline of the year and the right wing is watching our every move, we need to do whatever it takes to set our campaign up for success in 2024.

So I made a bet that if I asked, you'd come through and help us fill the gap. And I’m really hoping you will. For Ilhan. And for everyone who cares about continuing our progressive movement's fight in Congress and beyond.
