This chart from Axios shows that this Congress is on track to be one of the most unproductive in history.

Given that extremist Republicans are in charge right now, that doesn’t come as a surprise.

For the last year, they haven’t delivered the American people anything other than chaos. They brought us to the brink of a government shutdown twice , choosing to endlessly litigate right-wing culture wars and petty grievances instead of actually solving problems.

My number one priority is to make New Jersey a better and more affordable place to live, work, and raise a family. I could simply care less about the endless partisan food fights that have come to define Washington these days, and the same is true of the American people.

But if we flip just five seats next year, we can win back the House majority and finally restore real leadership to Congress — leadership that’s determined to lower health care costs, protect reproductive freedom, defend our democratic institutions, and deliver tangible results on the issues the American people care most about.
