We often see the dangerous and inhumane comments from Donald Trump but the rot within the GOP is deepr than just one person.  Yesterday, Nikki Haley refused to say that slavery was the cause of the Civil War.  Instead, she talked about "State's rights"and the "role of government."  This is disgusting!
I’m running for Congress because our nation needs leaders who tell the truth, don't waffle for political reasons and stand up for what is right and true and just.

Unfortunately, her comments are simply another example of the GOP-wide platform of hatred, anger, fear, and resentment.  This is unacceptable and un-American and all of us must play a role in fighting against such repulsive language and the policies that follow such positions. 

Our end of quarter/end of year fundraising deadline is 3 days away and I'm humbly asking you to play a role in our efforts to to stop this hatred.  We HAVE TO take back the House and, with your help, together we can be the change.
