It’s been a little more than two months since my team and I launched this campaign to flip a GOP seat in Ohio, and I’ve been blown away by the support.
But this is exactly when we need to keep our eyes on the prize: in purple Ohio, anything can happen with the right message delivered to the right voters.
My Trump-loving opponent is not popular, and he is not well-known. If we raise the resources we need to win, this team can deliver a historic flip and show the country that Ohio hasn’t given up on democracy and no one else should, either.
We’re now just days away from our first FEC report, and my opponent and his big corporate money managers will be eagerly anticipating the numbers we will report. It isn’t as simple as a total, though—it is how many individuals have said “We can do this” and donated whatever they can, whether it is $5, $50, or $500.
