John,
As we get closer to the end of the year, I wanted to look back at all of the ups and downs and talk a little bit about my campaign in 2024.
But I understand if you can't stay and read the whole thing. Before you go, my team and I are working hard to meet our End of Quarter Fundraising Goal before the end of December. This is our final goal of the year – will you help us finish 2023 off strong with a donation today? [[link removed]]

John, 2023 was anything but boring. Let's review:
The start of my first year in Congress was rocky. On the day freshmen like me were supposed to be sworn in, Republicans failed to choose a Speaker, and kept us from being able to move forward.
After fifteen rounds of voting, a Speaker was chosen. In the early, early hours of a Saturday morning, I finally was sworn in as your Congresswoman.
Every day since then, I've worked hard to be a strong voice for our community.

I was appointed to the Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security Committees, and I've built a strong reputation as a champion for immigration reform, affordable housing, and veterans' rights. And I've proudly introduced legislation to address these issues –
My bill, the Student Veteran Restoration Act, helps veterans who've been defrauded by for-profit institutions to restore the education benefit they deserve.
I'm a proud co-lead on the American Dream and Promise Act, a bill that works to create a clear pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients.
Recently, while Republicans were busy choosing a Speaker for the second time, I introduced the Tenants' Right to Organize Act, which protects tenants' rights to organize against unfair and discriminatory housing practices.
John, 2023 has been such an incredible and challenging year, but I'm ready to continue fighting for what matters to you.
But I'll be honest: it won't be easy. Because the GOP are after my seat, I need your help to build a strong base of support going into 2024. Will you help me raise the $6,421 left to meet my final fundraising goal of the year? [[link removed]]
