I'm worried.
I'm worried for my teenage son who is out of school. I'm worried about the millions of kids who can't get the school meals they need. I know you share that worry for your own family and the kids across the country without access to school meals.
Here's an update on how we're helping hungry kids during this crisis. For now, we're making local grants to ensure children across the country have access to free meals during this crisis. These funds will support a wide-range of efforts including home delivered meals, pop-up meals programs, school and community pantries, backpack programs, and other steps to help reach children and families who lose access to meals.

Today, millions of children will stay home because their schools have closed to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Tomorrow the number will be even higher.
And without access to the school meals they depend on, many will not know where their next meal is coming from. We can help them, but we need your support.
