Friend, we have some concerning news.

Pesticide companies like Bayer-Monsanto are spending millions trying to keep dangerous pesticides like chlorpyrifos and glyphosate on the shelves and in your food. But the worst part? It’s working. Just take a look:

•
Last month a federal appeals court OVERRULED the EPA’s recent ban on brain-damaging chlorpyrifos.
•
Congress has proposed an amendment to the 2023 Farm Bill that would OVERTURN all state and local pesticide laws, including bans on bee-killing neonicotinoids.
•
And in the EU, cancer-linked glyphosate has just been APPROVED for another 10 years.

EWG is fighting every day to get toxic pesticides like glyphosate, chlorpyrifos and neonics out of our grocery stores and, ultimately, our bodies. But we need your help.

We’re falling dangerously behind on our year-end fundraising goal, and time is running out. We need our work to be fully funded to continue the research you rely on, fight for stronger protections and make our voices heard. Can we count on you to chip in $15 today?

Click here to rush a donation of $15 or more to support our work getting dangerous pesticides out of our food!

We know these toxic pesticides are linked to serious health risks, and Big Ag knows it too. Glyphosate has been linked to impaired brain function in young people, kidney harm and harm to fetal growth and development, not to mention its link to cancer. And many studies have documented chlorpyrifos’ links to neurotoxicity and harm to children’s developing brains, even at very small doses.

These toxic pesticides should NOT be on our food.

EWG will never stop fighting for your health – and we get results. Just look at what we accomplished in 2023:

•
EWG-sponsored legislation BANNING four harmful food additives in California was signed into law. This could pave the way for manufacturers to adjust their products for the rest of the country.
•
Thanks largely to advocacy by EWG and supporters like you, the EPA has proposed historic limits on six PFAS chemicals in drinking water.
•
Compared to the results of EWG’s groundbreaking research on pesticides in baby food in 1995, we found vastly fewer pesticides in baby food in our 2023 study, thanks to EWG’s advocacy driving market change.

None of this great work would have been possible without your support. We need to raise $140,940 before midnight on 12/31 to fully fund our pesticide work in 2024. If you rely on our work, please donate today. Any amount makes a difference.

Donate $15 or more today to fund EWG’s work in 2024. Our work to protect your health has never been more important.

Thanks for your support, friend.
