Dear Friend,
In the midst of the struggles and disputes that cripple American culture and increasingly stymie public policy debates, there are four essential truths that EPPC scholars seek to vindicate as our best hope for reestablishing a flourishing American republic:
(1) That we are made in the image and likeness of God, (2) that we are created male or female, (3) that we are created for each other in marriage, and (4) that all of us are called to communion with God.
Our commitment to these truths explains why EPPC works so hard (1) to defend the dignity of the imago Dei, with our work on bioethics and opposing abortion and assisted suicide, (2) to combat gender ideology and propose a reasonable vision of masculinity and femininity, (3) to defend marriage and promote sound family policy, and (4) not only to defend religious liberty, but also to rejuvenate our religious communities.
This commitment likewise motivates our work on the courts, on education, on economics, on the administrative state, and on technology.
EPPC is able to have an outsized impact addressing these challenges on a lean budget—making concrete progress in 2023 on many issues including education policy and common-sense social media protections for kids—by providing targeted scholarship and practical guidance to key decision-makers.
As 2023 draws to a close, I would like for you to consider partnering with us with a tax-deductible gift of $100, $250, $500, or even $1,000. We will be pleased to thank any donors who contribute $1,000 or more with a yearlong subscription to Ethos, the new quarterly journal of the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
Your gift, large or small, will help sustain and develop our much-needed mission to affirm the truth and dignity of each person and to cultivate a society ordered toward the full flourishing of human beings.
Thank you for your generous support!
