Through the $50,000 50th Anniversary Match Fund, we hope to raise $100,000 by year-end to build a community where young people grow up with dignity, hope, and joy in 2024 and beyond. But we need the help of compassionate allies like you to get there.

Every gift, of any size, will be counted toward the Match Fund, up to $50,000—but only until Sunday. Your gift will double in impact to help Children’s Defense Fund finish 2023 strong and prepared to move forward at full speed on vital initiatives such as:

Expanding the number of CDF Freedom Schools® locations and launching the program in new states

Advocating for programs that allow Black and Brown families to access the resources needed to thrive

Calling for greater gun safety and other essential laws to make all children and youth safer
