Here are just some of the achievements made through our signature physician training program, the Leadership Training Academy (LTA) in 2023:

The LTA graduated 25 Fellows from the program in June 2023, bringing PRH’s alumni network to over 500 advocates working in 49 states. The class of 2023 generated more than 90 national and local media hits, and provided testimony, met with state and federal lawmakers, and attended state and federal coalition meetings, collectively completing more than 200 advocacy efforts during their 9-month fellowship.
During PRH’s annual Advocacy Day in March, LTA Fellows and PRH staff visited Capitol Hill, meeting with 29 Hill offices as well as holding the first-ever reception on Capitol Hill. Approximately 40 offices were in attendance.
LTA alumni continued to work with staff as well as self-organize opportunities to use their leadership skills in the media, before policymakers, and in the public. During the 2023 program year, we estimate the alumni completed more than 1,000 advocacy activities.
