Congress finds itself in this horrible space where impeachments, censures, and government shutdowns have become routine and they should be the exception. Bills that shouldn’t see the light of day because they take away our freedom and make lives harder, are passing the GOP-led House.
I strive everyday in office to make progress on crucial issues, working pragmatically like I did as a doctor to find solutions. Many of my Republican colleagues who now hold a slim House majority don’t hold those values.
