We would like to express our gratitude to all of you who participated in
our recent surveys, providing valuable insights into the priorities and
aspirations of our vibrant Libertarian community. 

Here are the key findings from the surveys...

 

TOP ISSUES:

Freedom of Speech and Opposing Censorship:

* 82% of respondents expressed this as a top priority.
* Members are passionate about safeguarding individual liberties in the
digital age.

Ending Wars:

* 78% of respondents highlighted the importance of promoting a
non-interventionist foreign policy.
* Members are eager to see a commitment to peace and diplomacy.

Economics and Inflation:

* 74% of respondents identified economic issues, particularly inflation,
as a significant concern.

Members are looking for solutions to address economic challenges and
promote fiscal responsibility.

 

FUNDING PRIORITIES:

BALLOT ACCESS: [4]

* 65% of respondents indicated a strong interest in supporting initiatives
that enhance ballot access for Libertarian candidates.

DIRECT FUNDING OF CANDIDATES: [5]

* 58% of respondents expressed a desire to contribute directly to
Libertarian candidates, recognizing the importance of financial support for
electoral success.

EXPANDING PARTY'S OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES: [6]

* 52% of respondents highlighted the need for strengthening the party's
infrastructure and capabilities.

 

RUN FOR OFFICE SURVEY:

Interest in Running for Office:

* 78% of respondents expressed interest but are unsure about running for
office.

Preferred Office Levels:

* 58% want to run for local office, 24% for state, and 18% for federal
positions.

Experience in Running for Office:

* 63% of respondents have never run for office before, suggesting a
significant pool of potential new candidates.

Challenges for Candidates:

* Funding: 66% identified securing sufficient funds as the most
significant challenge.
* Knowing what to do and how to prepare: 56% highlighted the need for
guidance and preparation.
* Name Recognition Challenges: 46.5% cited the difficulty of gaining
visibility.

 

These survey results provide valuable insights into the priorities and
challenges our party members face. As we move forward, we will use this
information to tailor our initiatives and support mechanisms to better
serve the needs of our community.
