BREAKING: "House passes coronavirus economic relief package with Trump’s support"

It's critical we support working families and small businesses as the economic impact of the coronavirus is already being felt in communities across America. That's why the House just passed bipartisan legislation to:
- Guarantee paid sick leave so no one has to choose between their health and their paycheck;
- Guarantee paid family leave to ensure everyone can take care of their loved ones if/when necessary;
- Guarantee that everyone has access to free COVID-19 testing, no matter what kind of insurance they have (or don't); and
- Fully fund unemployment insurance, food stamps, and other life-saving safety net programs we'll be relying on now more than ever.
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act is just one of several critical pieces of legislation we're working on in the House right now.
While the world navigates through these trying times, please continue to implement the CDC's recommendations re: personal hygiene and social distancing to help stop the spread, protect the most vulnerable from infection, and give health care workers and hospitals the time to get ahead of this.
