In Texas, we believe in freedom: to live your life, to make decisions about your own body and health, to travel where you want to go, and to do so without interference from the government.

Recently, however, anti-choice extremists have been steadily chipping away at those freedoms.

After the Texas Supreme Court ruled a Dallas woman couldn’t receive potentially life-saving abortion care, she was forced to leave the state to get the time-sensitive care she needed.  That’s after our state enacted one of the strictest abortion bans in the country.  And now, even the right to travel out of state for reproductive care is at risk.  

Taking away people’s right to travel freely is at odds with our values as Texans and Americans—that’s why I support Lizzie’s bill to protect the right to travel across state lines for abortion care and why, as Texas’ next Senator, I will work to make sure the protections of Roe v. Wade are the law again in all 50 states.

I’m running to replace Ted Cruz in the Senate, and remember—Cruz not only supports Texas’ near-total abortion ban, he wants to go even further and ban abortion nationwide.

Abortion is on the ballot in 2024.  So am I, and so is Lizzie.  We both need your help ahead of the upcoming end-of-year FEC deadline, the biggest deadline of our campaigns to date.

Together, Lizzie and I can give Texans the leadership they need and deserve.  Your contributions strengthen our campaigns as we head into the election year.
