I am reaching out today with an important update: I am launching the Long Run’s FINAL FEC deadline fundraising drive before the election year and need your support to reach our all-important fundraising goal.

We have set a critical fundraising goal of $9,000 before our official deadline on the 31st. With just four days remaining in the quarter, our goal seems steep, Michele, but I have no doubt we will hit it as long as we have your support.

So I am asking: Can you please rush a contribution to our movement ahead of our final FEC deadline before the election year? Our movement relies on your support.

In just four days, we will wrap up our final quarter of 2023 and reach a public reporting deadline. Soon after, we are legally required to report our fundraising data — from how many supporters we have to how much money we have raised.

This is our final opportunity of the year to report our fundraising data publicly. And as we approach the 2024 election, a lot of eyes will be looking to dissect our results — the press, political pundits, and the GOP — to see if we have the resources and the momentum to continue making a difference in races across the country.

We have a ways to go before we hit that $9,000 goal, but I'm not worried, because this team has shown up time and time again to fight for our democracy. You did when we helped elect Justice Janet Protasiewicz in Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race and when we helped Virginia Democrats take back the legislative majority earlier this year.

I know 2024 will be no different because our movement is powerful, and that power begins with you and this grassroots team. But we cannot continue making a difference without your support so I need to ask:

Can you please contribute whatever you can afford to help us reach our $9,000 goal before our FEC deadline? Our path to meeting our goals depends on this grassroots movement.
