John,

During his last campaign, Jeff knew there would be a brief window before things really heated up - so that’s when we escaped to Zion National Park for a few days.

It was a great trip, and it marked the beginning of our sprint to the finish.

Now that we’re in a statewide race, that moment has come earlier.

We didn’t do a vacation, but we did shut everything down for the last five days and just spent that time with family. And it was great.

Today, we’re turning the campaign back on - and it’s going to stay on until November.

The reason we can’t cruise through the rest of December is because of the quarter.

I know Jeff walked everyone through why these end-of-quarter moments are more important than you might think, so I won’t go over that again.

I’ll just tell you that, for our family, today is the day that Jeff is back on the phone and back on the campaign trail.

His last email to you was one of the most successful of the year. I would love for this email - from me! - to beat it, if at all possible.

You won’t hear from me often in this campaign, but when you do, it’s because it really matters. Helping us to have a very strong starting quarter for our campaign is one of those moments. If you can chip in today it would mean a lot.
