Dear John,
I know this is a busy time of year for all of us, so I'll keep it brief—I wanted to introduce myself. Last April, I had the honor of becoming the Chief Nursing Officer at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
I've been a nurse for 40 years, but I, like you, know CHLA is a special place. That's why I hope you'll take a moment to make a donation to our year-end fundraising drive. Your first $10 gift is tax-deductible, and most importantly, your impact today will be doubled thanks to a generous match from Credit Unions for Kids, up to $400,000.
Here's the impact your matched gift will have:
You'll help provide compassionate, child-focused care and comfort for every family that comes through this hospital's doors.
You'll help enable further research into pediatric cancer, complex heart conditions, diabetes and other conditions affecting children's health and futures.
And you'll help support all the doctors, nurses, other team members, and most importantly, patients who make CHLA the extraordinary hospital it is today.
When you contribute to CHLA, you are not only providing medical care, you are a catalyst for change, John. If you're able, I hope you'll donate $10 or more by midnight on Dec. 31. Your first tax-deductible gift will be doubled to make twice the impact for the sick and injured kids in our care, thanks to a generous match from Credit Unions for Kids, up to $400,000.
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As I reflect on the past year and the incredible place of hope and healing that is Children's Hospital Los Angeles, I am both honored and humbled by the impact this hospital has had on countless lives. Your first donation will make an impact, too.
With my best wishes,
