Looking ahead to 2024, let's keep the momentum going

Let’s talk about this year. Team Summer hopes you’re able to spend the holidays with family and friends, we urge you to enjoy the downtime that comes with the end of the year! You’ve earned it! We’ve been thinking a lot about the movement we’ve grown this year and the work we’ve got done for the people who need it most, and we are so grateful for your constant support.
During this holiday season, we've been reflecting on the values that drive this campaign: Unity, compassion, and perseverance. Despite the challenges of this past year, we’ve managed to make material improvements in our community by delivering over $1 BILLION in federal funds for Western PA.
But we must remain cognizant of the dark money groups that seek to derail our grassroots, people-powered efforts.
AIPAC, the Republican-funded PAC that supported over 100 insurrectionist members of Congress, is targeting a group of Black and brown progressives in Congress, including Summer. I’ve always chosen people over PACs throughout my career, and I’m not changing course now.

Looking ahead to the new year, we need to keep this energy going. We'll have big fights to win and bigger barriers to break down, but we've already shown we can handle anything when we work together.
