My opponents are trying to turn me into someone I’m not—because they can’t
beat who I am.

Mitch McConnell thinks he can parachute into Montana, unleash a wave of
outside attacks funded by outside dollars, and buy Montana’s Senate seat.

But here’s what none of these out-of-staters get: Montanans have the best
BS radar of anyone I know. They see right through these half-baked smear
campaigns.

I am and always will be a third-generation dirt farmer from Big Sandy. And
in my opinion, that makes me a better senator for Montana.

Look, political pundits from CNN to Cook Political Report call this seat a
“toss-up” and say we’re one of the most competitive Senate races on the
map.

But going up against wealthy outsiders who don’t understand a lick about
Montana or our way of life? Well, I’ll take those chances any day.
