John,

At Love146 we provide Survivor Care Services to kids who have been trafficked or are at high risk of being trafficked.

Throughout the year, we are focused on helping these kids overcome the trauma they’ve experienced. But during the holidays, we celebrate the joys of the season.

The holidays often allow these youth a chance to focus on just being kids.

They get downright giddy over the magic of the season and the fun they have with the people they love. It reminds us of what this time can be like through a child’s eyes.

We embrace these moments of joy, but our team is also preparing for what is often around the corner in January.

Once the holidays have passed – once there are no more parties, gatherings, or festivities, that’s when we tend to see some of the highest numbers of youth running away, and the most challenging mental health struggles. I don't think our youth are alone in it. Maybe you can relate. A lot of us experience an emotional dip this time of the year.

Your support means that after the magic of the holidays fades, Love146 staff can still be fully present and continue working with survivors through the ups and downs, for as long as they need us.

GIVE TODAY

Even if you’re not sitting in the room with these young people like we are, your generosity is showing up for them. Your presence now is important and real and helps provide consistent, expert care.

Ending trafficking is a team effort with the youth we serve doing the hardest work.

Then there’s our staff who show up day after day to work alongside of kids.

And of course – you. We know that you work hard for the money you earn. You could spend it in so many different ways, yet you choose to use that money to help children. You choose to commit to working towards a world without trafficking. You’re helping to making the work of Love146 a reality.

Thank you. I so appreciate your generosity.

Warmly,

Erin
