We have said it before, but it bears repeating: this Senate race in Michigan is going to be one of the most competitive, and, sadly, most expensive, races in the country.
And if the outcome of this one Senate race wasn't enough on its own, the only way to keep Democrats' Senate majority is to defend this swing seat.
If everyone reading this donated even $10, we would not just have a huge number of individual donations, but we would be so well-resourced we would have no problem hitting our important FEC fundraising goal before December 31.
But not everyone gives. That’s just the reality. So we’re relying on people who understand how important this race is to chip in before our FEC deadline at the end of this month.
For our Republican opponents, most of the money they'll spend to try to beat us will come from their own self-funding, corporate PACs, or super PACs spending millions on TV on their behalf.
But most of our fundraising comes from people chipping in a few bucks at a time. Without those donations — big or small — we couldn't run a winning campaign.
Our average online donation is around $35. Many donors give less. Some give more. All that matters is that you’re choosing to power this campaign before our official FEC deadline on December 31.
