_NAAC Music & Dance Academy_

Dear Students and Parents - Please note that due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the rapidly changing situation, *we are Cancelling the remaining NAAC Music & Danceand Shiamak Dance**classes for this term*. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but our top priority remains the health, safety and well-being of our students and tutors.

We will hopefully restart the classes after the Easter break and further details will be communicated to all as to when the classes will restart.

Nottingham's Young Creative Awards - deadline 23 March!

Please see poster for this years *Young Creative Awards [ [link removed] ]* the deadline for entries is Monday March 23! Most applications come in during the last week so theres still time to encourage the young people you work with to Go for it!

There are three age bands: 11-15 years old; 16 18 years old and 19 24 years old. They need to register on the website and enter either as an individual or part of a group, within one of these categories:

Animation and Digital Media

Creative Writing

Dance

Design and Architecture

Fashion and Textiles

Film

Graphic Design

Music

Photography

Theatre

The award ceremonies are taking place at Metronome this year, from 19 21 May its a fabulous celebration of young peoples creativity and we want everyone to know about it!

SKY ARTS: Landscape Artist of the Year 2020

Sky Artist [ [link removed] ]

*Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2020* [ [link removed] ] are currently looking for artists to take part in the new series and would love to get the word out to any artists or art groups.

Attached is a flyer telling people how to enter and we would be extremely grateful if you could let people know about the competition (and encourage them to enter) via your mailing lists, social media and noticeboards. If youre not familiar with the programme, here is a brief summary:

Artists enter with a landscape artwork they have created within the last five years, via our website:

If selected to take part in the competition, they will then be given the opportunity to paint a specially chosen, stunning landscape within the UK.

The prize on offer is a *10,000 commission* for a major British institution plus 500 worth of art materials from Cass Art.

The deadline for applying to the competition is *17th April 2020.*
