Poynter’s PolitiFact hit the ground running, fact-checking the GOP candidates running for office in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. PolitiFact fact-checked nearly 1,500 claims in 2023. |

Poynter’s International Fact Checking Network (IFCN) hosted the 10th GlobalFact conference in Seoul, South Korea. There were 506 in-person registrations and over 1,000 online registrants. |

Poynter’s MediaWise program continued to help teenagers discern fact from fiction via the Teen Fact-Checking Network. This initiative is designed to provide fact checks and media literacy to teens via social media videos they’ll want to watch and share with friends. |
