Dear John,
While Americans celebrate the holiday season with loved ones this year, our tax dollars continue to be used to build and ship bombs being use in the ongoing genocide against Palestine. There's no break to the relentless bombardment of Gaza, and so, too, we cannot stop our efforts to demand a ceasefire.
This Thursday, Dec. 28 join us for a virtual panel with anti-Zionist Jewish organizers, trade union members, and more to discuss concrete tactics in the fight for Palestinian liberation and ways to contribute to this important work in the New Year.
Organizing for Palestinian Liberation: A Virtual Roundtable on Strategies and Tactics

The roundtable will kick off a longer term study group focused on reading the book The Hundred Year’s War On Palestine by Rashid Khalidi, beginning in early January. Click here to sign up for the reading group.
In The Hundred Years' War on Palestine Khalidi traces a hundred years of colonial war on the Palestinians, waged first by the Zionist movement and then Israel, but backed by Britain and the United States. He highlights the key episodes in this colonial campaign, from the 1917 Balfour Declaration to the destruction of Palestine in 1948, from Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon to the endless and futile peace process.
Our reading group will start in the first week of January with a series of virtual meetings, with a plan to organize reading group meetups in-person. Whether you have regularly attended DSA-LA actions to push for a ceasefire or have been just recently radicalized by the current violence, we welcome you to join and deepen your analysis with us as we continue to fight for Palestinian liberation.
