Shahzad was arrested at 16 and sentenced to die – the ACLJ just took urgent action to prevent that . . .
Defend the Right to Vote

John,

What was your biggest concern when you were 16?

Shahzad was arrested for blasphemy when he was 16 – literally a kid – and now spends each day on death row, wondering if it's his last. He will hang for his Christian faith.

Our legal team on the ground in Pakistan just took urgent legal action to prevent that from happening.

A Pakistani court found Shahzad guilty of blasphemy, despite no legitimate evidence against him. Now this innocent Christian has been sentenced to hang for his faith.

The world should be outraged.

Pakistan's Christians face growing persecution and violence. And Pakistan's archaic laws make it easy to accuse anyone of blasphemy – especially Christians – with little to no evidence at all.

We've gone directly to the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva to deliver urgent oral interventions demanding maximum pressure on Pakistan to protect their downtrodden Christians. And we JUST FILED in a Pakistani court to expedite Shahzad's appeal before it's too late.

Fighting for Christian lives on Capitol Hill, in Geneva, and in Pakistan requires immense resources. We urgently need your Tax-Deductible support. We're right here at our year-end deadline. Have your Tax-Deductible gift DOUBLED during our Faith & Freedom Year-End Drive. $5 becomes $10; $20 becomes $40.

Have Your Gift Doubled To Defend Dying Christians.

This was Shahzad's sixth Christmas imprisoned for his Christian faith. He will die without us.

He needs your voice now. Sign our urgent petition.
