John,

Wiretapping an American without a warrant is a clear violation of our freedom. That's my take on it, along with the vast majority of Americans. But too often, we have no choice: the politicians on our ballots support endless spying on Americans, regardless of their party. This is why Congress just extended Section 702, which grants the FBI vast power to surveil Americans.

But as an independent candidate for US Senate (leading Republican Deb Fischer in the polls), I can cut through the noise and give Nebraskans a real choice.

CONTRIBUTE TO SUPPORT CIVIL LIBERTIES!

As a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Nebraska Army National Guard, I take our national security very seriously. And that experience has made me all the more confident that violating our fundamental freedoms is wrong, and to be skeptical of those who insist we must set aside those freedoms.

As an independent, I can bring together all Nebraskans, regardless of party, who are skeptical of our federal government's desire to spy on Americans. Please consider supporting this unique opportunity to win a landmark victory for civil liberties.

I appreciate it, truly.

Yours,

Dan Osborn
