This was a big year for climate action, friend, and you made it possible. 

The biggest climate victory of 2023 — in not just California but arguably the entire world!! — was passing our sponsored bill, the Corporate Climate Leadership and Accountability Act (SB 253).

This law requires the largest U.S.-based corporations doing business in California to publicly disclose their greenhouse gas pollution. Given California’s standing as the world’s fifth largest economy, this policy will have both national and global impacts.

It’s only because of the support of our generous contributors and our activist community that this transformational, world-changing bill became law. And while we’re elated by the success of SB 253, the journey toward a sustainable future is far from over.
