Hi John,

As a member of the Creative Care Council and primary caregiver to my mother, the care movement is not just a cause I advocate for — it's a deeply personal journey.

I've navigated my mother’s care since 2016, handling everything from medical appointments to training her in-home direct care workers. But I know not everyone, especially Black women caregivers, has access to the level of support and resources that I do.

That’s why I’m committed to ensuring Black women who are providing care for their families and loved ones have the support they need. Will you join me in giving to Caring Across Generations this holiday season?

Your donation can help contribute to a future where Black women caregivers are heard, seen, and supported in every aspect of caregiving. [[link removed]]

Black women caregivers often face an impossible choice: provide care for their families and loved ones, or earn a paycheck. They’re the most harmed by this country’s inequitable systems of care – and it’s been like this for decades.

The majority of the country’s 2.4 million home care workers are Black women and women of color who don’t make a living wage, haven’t seen pay increases in decades, and have little to no job benefits like paid leave. We need a care system that meaningfully centers Black women and purposely addresses access and affordability disparities.

Donate now and help us to create a future in which Black women, and all of us, can thrive. [[link removed]]

Your support will help us advocate for a care system built on racial and gender justice, with living wages for care workers, paid leave for all, and affordable care for all families.

I’ve seen how keeping my mom at home has extended and enhanced her life, and I want every family to have the same choice.

Thank you for your generosity and support,

Brandee Evans
