The climate crisis, fueled by human activity and fossil fuels, affects us all. In IL-11, we experience longer droughts, more severe storms, and increased flooding.
I believe that, together, we can take decisive action to confront this crisis. More specifically, I promise to:
- Stop issuing new, and withdraw unused, permits for oil drilling on federal land.
- Invest in clean energy and infrastructure for a carbon-neutral U.S. by 2030.
- End fracking and the debunked science of 'carbon capture' immediately.
